About
I am a student at the University of Florida. I graduate this semester with a B.S. in Chemistry, and will be attending medical school in the fall.
This site is the culmination of a semester-long investigation into paradoxical discourse and unconventional forms of expression. Drawn from a variety of sources and assembled from the collection of adapted poetics encountered throughout the semester, this project exists not to analyze, inform, or persuade, but to explore and present a unique perspective that is lost in more traditional modes of thinking. Rather than a straightforward intellectual treatment of the subject, this is a figurative work designed to express an experience: “The reader is the space on which all the quotations that make up a writing are inscribed without any of them being lost; a text’s unity lies not in its origin but in its destination.” (Roland Barthes, “The Death of the Author”)
